THE DESCENDANTS
OF
WILLIAM THE CONQUEROR

Created by Alan Freer A.C.I.B.

Member of the Society of Genealogists, London.

The objective of this site is two fold. First it is a vehicle for my 25 years of research in to the descendants of William the Conqueror. I have approximately 400,000 of these plus spouses and, in many cases, parents of spouses.

The GENEALOGY PAGE will take you to my various databases and a number of other genealogical sites you may find useful and interesting.

The secondary objective of the site is to provide a list of internet sources for those seeking historical information. Some of the sites carry a comment from me but for most of them I have left you to form your own opinion. I have only included those that I regard as informative and interesting. If you come across a site which you consider merits inclusion, please email me.

I hope you enjoy the web site and find the contents stimulating. Remember  “he who ignores the past is destined to repeat his errors in the future.”
